Who is Dr. Maria Montessori?
Dr. Maria Montessori believed that no human being is educated by another person, people teach themselves. Montessori's educational theories are based on the way a child develops naturally. Her method places the child at the center of education, cultivating their interests and stimulating emotional growth alongside intellectual progress.
One of the most important educators of our time
Born in 1870, Dr. Maria Montessori was an Italian physician and educator, the first woman to receive a medical degree in Italy.
She first worked with mentally handicapped and disadvantaged children, observing that they showed outwardly recognizable periods of intense interest for certain sensorial and abstract experiences. She discovered that these “sensitive periods” reflected the developmental demands that needed to be fulfilled.
Her research verified that this was a universal truth for all children and she later developed her method of education to include normal children.
Dr. Maria Montessori‘s specialized approach to education created a shift in the paradigm of traditional education methodology.

“It's the best school for teaching and training kids in a perfect manner. All the teachers are very experienced and patient, nurturing our child's immense potential. We plan to have our youngest son also join the school.
Providing a good foundation is important for kids, Montessori Manor is providing exactly that. We strongly recommend this school to other parents.”
